Welcome

Cx3 Consultations was birthed out of a heart for both ministry and psychology. My desire, as your Coach, is to help you align your life with Biblical principles and truths, addressing your everyday needs, to find life transformative changes.

Growing up in a Christian environment, it was common to hear ‘Christianese’ phrases that left church members feeling isolated and hurting. Psychology was not always an acceptable outlet. Archaic stereotypes inferred that people with various problems or diagnoses were not doing their part to rely on Jesus. If someone did consult a psychologist, the church often equated the experience to psychobabble and “feel good remedies.” This judgement left believers with a feeling of shame, needing help, and unsure of where to go.

On the opposite side of this issue was the world of psychology, where, apart from a holistic acceptance of what one believed spiritually, Jesus was removed from the equation. Therapy dictates that clinicians are not allowed to “prescribe” Jesus or discuss Biblical truths, leaving many, in my experience, with a temporary or partial fix. Symptoms were often addressed, but root causes remained unhealed.

After straddling both worlds for several years, I decided it was time to branch out in a new direction. Following 9 years of clinical work, I transitioned from the world of psychology and stepped into full time ministry. I served overseas as a missionary, coaching people under Cx3 Consultations, and completed certification in ministry school. While no longer operating as a psychologist, my training in clinical psychology, with additional emphases in health and wellness, violence and risk assessment, and organizational psychology, has prepared me to coach individuals in a variety of areas.

I look forward to helping you develop a closer walk with Jesus and find healing in your journey. Thank you for your interest. I pray that God blesses your journey.
